Last Saturday there was an anime event in central Brussel.  Erika, a good friend of Iryna, asked if I wanted to accompany her.  Since I had nothing to do that day, I decided to join.  Actually Erika asked Iryna first, but she had to work, that is why I had nothing to do that day ;-)

Since many of the visitors at an anime event are dresses as there favorite characters, I decided to also go dressed up.  After all, you need to try everything at least once in you life.  Erika suggested that I would go dressed as Sephiroth.  Below you see the original, and the copy (me) attacking my enemy.  I know, I still have long way to go, but it is a start.

Anyway, it turned out a big success.  We had a lot of fun, and yes I did carry that sword all day long and surprisingly it did not bother me so much.  Only when I had to take pictures, that is why some pictures of the cosplay are so fussy.  You try to take a picture with a rather sharp sword between you legs.

Next event for me will be October, this time it will be in Gent.  I don't know what I will be that day, maybe I go as my foe.  Until then, you can enjoy the pictures in this blog.
